This is Lilo, a 4 1/2 year old chinchilla! She is a very curious and sweet girl, but would probably have more fun in a home with older kids. She likes to be out and about and enjoys being around people, but doesn't always like to cuddle. She would need to be an indoor pet since chinchillas don't fair well in the heat and would probably do best as an only pet (no additional chinchillas please)
She eats chinchilla food which can be purchased at a feed store for about 14 dollars for 25# bag, (would probably last 6 months or more) and she would need timothy hay from time to time. She loves little treats such as raisins and would need plenty of chew toys. A cage could be provided if needed.
