Princess the cat!

Beautiful Princess is a cat who was well cared for and loved, then her human lost her job, and then was evicted, so as much of a shock as it was to her to have come to this (as it would be any of us), she had to move into a homeless shelter until she could figure something else out. She was devastated. She has no family here or friends to take her in. She called sobbing about having to give up her very well cared for cat, Princess.

If you know anyone who may be interested in this pretty, please pass along so we can get this girl in a loving home. If you have any questions, please email me at laura@substation9.com.

Great site for pets up for adoption!!

This site lists Shelter pets sorted by species then breed ...further down it lists adoptable pets from the Hill Country Animal League with the same pet sort order....then Lost & Found pets...then adoptable pets from Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation.

Check this site out. These pets don't have much time, so adopting a shelter pet is saving a life!! Available pets include a beautiful husky, a stray whippet, aussie cattle dog puppy mix, a cute pitbull, a lab and a pretty rottie!!

Super cute Lab Mix!!

This sweet girl was found this past weekend in a community center parking lot. She was flea-infested and kinda skinny. She has been given a bath, spray and drops for the flea infestation. She is currently being kept outside with 2 circulating fans. This girl looks like a lab mix, about 1-2 years of age, very sweet but a little scared. She really likes her kennel and has had no accidents, no crying or barking. Sounds like a great addition to a family to me!! For more information, please contact SSgt Bergelin-Lomeli at671-6425.

Gracie

This beautiful girl is Gracie! She is up for adoption because her current owners just had a new baby and don't have enough time to devote to her. Gracie is also having a time getting used to the baby (She is located in San Antonio). She needs to go to a no dog no cat home and to a home where she can get a lot of exercise. Gracie is 3 years old, crate trained, potty trained, and yard trained. She is an only dog in her current home, but LOVES to be around people.

If you want more information on this girl, please contact Melissa at bloomtide@yahoo.com

Thanks!

This is Sophie! In the picture, she was hanging out with us at an adoption event. She is a survivor from Hurricane Ike and was found trying to swim to safety. She is spayed, up to date on shots, great with kids and other dogs. She will need an active family since she has a lot of energy. For more information, please email Liz at davis123@gvtc.com
