Basset Mix-Adopted!!

Look at this cute little man!! This male Labrador/Basset mix was found as a stray a few months ago here in Boerne. The gentleman who found him wanted to keep him in hopes that an owner would come looking for him but no one ever did. He is a year and a half old and has had some vaccinations including Bordotella. He gets very excitable and would be a great companion for a great family. If this guy interests you, please call the City of Boerne Animal Control at 830-249-2456 for more information, or contact Dino at darellano@ci.boerne.tx.us

A Wonderful Akita-Ruby-Adopted!!

This is Ruby, a spayed Akita. She is an older girl at 7 1/2 years, but likes cats, is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and has had some obedience training. She is both playful and protective, and is an outdoor/indoor pet. She is an owner surrender because she got into a flight with a neighbor's small dog. If this sweet senior girl would fit into your family, please contact the City of Boerne Animal Control at 830-249-2456 or contact Dino at darellano@ci.boerne.tx.us

Black Mix-THis cutie ran out of time

This male mix was picked up in Fair Oaks Ranch. He has not been very socialized as he does not like to be touched, especially on the head. Also, he is not very comfortable when someone is in his kennel. Not sure what this poor guy went through before he got to the pound. He would love a second chance. If you are interested in this guy, please contact the City of Boerne Animal Control at 830-249-2456 or Dino at darellano@ci.boerne.tx.us

Donations for Heartworm Treatments

A few dogs that have been pulled from shelters and placed in rescues, have had heartworms. These treatments are long and very costly. If you are one of those folks that can't foster an animal or adopt one, but want to help an animal in need, you can make a donation for heartworm treatment. For a tax deductible donation, make a check out to HCAL. In the memo section, please write Isobel Legacy Fund (Blind Seer). This fund is set up specifically for heartworm treatments. The number to HCAL is 830.249.2341 for any questions.
